Welcome to Imlil Valley
The standard approach route for those wishing to climb Toubkal.
This area containing all the highest peaks, it's by far the most popular region in the Atlas for walkers. The trek up to Toubkal and the Neltner hut is undertaken each year by several thousand visitors of all nationalities. It is in some ways atypical of the Atlas trekking experience, being an area of stark volcanic peaks, rather than the usual limestone scenery found elsewhere.

Mount Toubkal Tours
Climbing Toubkal in winter generally requires wearing crampons and using a walking ice-axe. However the ascent (by either the south or north cwm routes) is not technical and so you do not necessarily need prior experience using an axe or crampons as you will be under the watchful eye of one our guides. (We would not recommend you climbing Toubkal in winter without a winter experienced guide if you do not have prior winter walking / climbing experience).
