· Hiking Information

Lipiney (Tazaghart) Refuge 3000m

Remotely situated in the upper Azzaden valley, Lipiney Refuge is a small hut which receives few visitors, it is delightfully situated near a waterfall. The view outside the hut is completely dominated by the cliffs of the Tazaghart plateau, which at 650m are the biggest in the area. At night the lights of Marrakech can be seen. The hut sleeps 20 and has gas stove. Snow conditions may make the refuge difficult to reach in winter.

There is a mule track from the Armed village over the Tizi n Tizikert gives quicker access, but can be impossible in winter.
