Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: IMLIL (1,780M) TO TIZI N'MZIK PASS (2,489M) TO TIZI OUSSEM (1,900M)
Your adventure begins at 9:00 am with collection from your Marrakech accommodation. Upon arrival in Imlil, you'll meet your experienced guide and muleteer who will help load your bags onto mules. As your cook heads off to prepare a delicious picnic lunch, you'll begin your westward trek towards the Tizi n'Mzik mountain pass (2,489m).
The steady climb rewards you with breathtaking panoramic views—the Imlil valley stretches behind you while the lush Azzadene Valley unfolds ahead. After reaching the pass, you'll traverse towards the enchanting D'Irhoulidene waterfalls, which flow magnificently year-round through the Azzadene Valley.
In the afternoon, you'll make your way down to the charming Berber village of Tizi Oussem (1,900m). Keep watch during your descent for the remarkable sight of nimble mountain goats climbing Juniper trees to feast on berries. Your first day concludes with an overnight stay in a traditional mountain gîte, where you'll experience authentic Berber hospitality.

DAY 2: TIZI OUSSEM (1,900M) TO TIZI OUDITE PASS (2,219M) TO IMLIL (1,780M)

From the pass, you'll start your descent back into the Imlil valley, journeying through the picturesque red clay Berber villages of Matate and Agersioual. These traditional settlements cling dramatically to the mountainsides, offering a glimpse into authentic mountain life that has remained largely unchanged for generations.
